We just went to a garden centre that claimed to have a 'Pet Corner', only there were no pets in it. Bah! So I couldn't transfer my need-to-breed onto something rabbit shaped. But we did have tea and the most lush pastries ever.
The beer festival yesterday was cool. For those that are interested in such things I had Bateman's Salem Porter, Mauldons' Micawber's Mild, and two Belgian beers: Watou Wheat Beer and Jacobin Kriek (cherry). There were a few on their list that weren't there on Saturday, such as a banana bread beer, which sounded cool. Jamie's decided I like beer best if it looks like Cola, which is wierd cos I used to like more amber coloured ones. He had two fairly potent ciders (Cheddar Valley Dry and Weston's First Quality). They were all local beers, so I didn't get to assuage my homesickness with any northern drink, but there were a couple made just down the road from us, which was cool.
